Advanced Drainage Systems Unveils New HP Lift Station

In collaboration with Franklin Electric, the HP Lift Station will help farmers increase crop yields and access fields earlier

Hilliard, Ohio (May 18, 2026) –– Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (NYSE: WMS) (“ADS” or the “Company”), a leading provider of innovative water management solutions in the stormwater and onsite septic wastewater industries, today announced the launch of its updated HP Lift Station, developed in collaboration with Franklin Electric.

Designed to enhance agricultural drainage performance, the HP Lift Station provides farmers with a single, integrated system to manage water flow rate, field water table levels, and power consumption — helping to maximize crop yields by controlling root zone water availability while also improving operational efficiency.

“Our goal was to simplify water management,” said Chris Stoneburg, product development director at ADS. “By collaborating with an industry leader, we developed a system that will deliver operational benefits for our customers, providing reliability and confidence in how their water is managed.”

By connecting subsurface tile networks to the HP Lift Station, farmers can move water from fields to a designated waterway, providing a reliable drainage outlet for fields where gravity flow isn’t an option.

“This HP Lift Station update isn’t just about performance — it’s about the farmer,” said Stoneburg. “It’s about delivering a system they can rely on day in and day out. ADS was built on agricultural drainage solutions, and everything we’ve learned over decades in the field has gone into making farmers’ operations more reliable, more efficient and easier to manage.”

A key difference in the updated HP Lift Station is its ability to handle 3-inch solids through the pump, making it well suited for demanding field drainage conditions. It features variable frequency drive (VFD) controls, which significantly reduce pump cycling by limiting frequent on‑off operation. This not only improves energy efficiency but also extends equipment life and lowers operating costs.

The HP Lift Station can be equipped with a remote monitoring system that can be accessed on any web-enabled device, enabling farmers to control their water management from anywhere.
