PVC S&D Cleanout Plug, 6 in. MPT

The PVC Cleanout Plug enables access to sewer and drain (S&D) pipe systems to feed a plumbing snake into a clogged drain pipe. Attaches to, and removes easily from drainage fittings with threaded connections. The 6 in. Male Pipe Thread (MPT) connection on the plug fits 6 in. Female Pipe Thread (FPT) connections of other drainage fittings, sold separately. The drain fitting is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC). Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi.
Applications:
- Removable plug provides a point of access into pipe system to feed a plumbing snake into a clogged drain pipe
- Plug fits onto drainage fittings with 6 in. Female Pipe Thread (FPT) connection point
- As part of a complete drainage system, the cleanout plug attaches to drainage fittings with 6 in. FPT threaded connection point and can be removed to provide easy access to drain pipe
