The 3 in. PVC Long-Turn Street Elbow adds a 90° turn in Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe runs. The street elbow differs from a standard elbow in that it has a Hub X Spigot connection rather than a Hub X Hub connection. The long turn feature allows the water to travel around the bend with less turbulence, resulting in a smoother and more consistent flow. The 90° Street Ell also connects 3 in. S&D pipe and fittings to select drainage products compatible with 3 in. S&D connections such as channel drain outlets, low-profile adapters, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters. The 90° Long-Turn Street Elbow is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and makes a Hub X Spt solvent-weld connection. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi.
Applications:
- Adds a 90° turn from 3 in. Sewer & Drain (S&D) pipe to 3 in. S&D fitting in non-pressurized drainage and sewer piping systems
- Adds a 90° turn from select drainage products such as channel drain outlets, low-profile adapters, drainage grates, and pop-up emitters to 3 in. S&D pipe and fittings
- As part of a complete drainage system, the PVC Long-Turn Street Elbow adds a 90° turn to the pipeline as it connects two pipes of the same type and diameter size together for a Hub X Spigot connection; it can also add a 90° turn from drainage product to drain pipe or fitting
