Connect 6 in. Sewer and Drain (S&D) pipe to 8 in. S&D pipe with the PVC S&D Increaser/Reducer Coupling. The coupler also connects 8 in. S&D pipe to select drainage products compatible with 6 in. S&D connections such as pop-up emitters. This coupling connects two different pipe diameters of S&D pipe. The S&D Increaser/Reducer Coupling is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) and makes a Hub X Hub solvent-weld connection. Meets applicable ASTM standards. For use in non-pressurized underground sewer and drainage applications; maximum working pressure of 5 psi.
Applications:
- Connects 6 in. Sewer & Drain (S&D) pipe to 8 in. S&D pipe in non-pressurized drainage and sewer piping systems
- Connects 8 in. S&D pipe to select drainage products compatible with 6 in. S&D connections such as pop-up emitters
- As part of a complete drainage system, this PVC coupling connects two S&D pipes of different sizes together, or connects drainage product to pipe to convey excess water for proper release downstream
