Keep your drain pipes running smoothly by blocking troublesome leaves and debris from getting in and clogging your drainage system. The 8 in. Square Drain Grate has an open surface area of 17.2 sq. in. and a flow rate of 52 GPM; ideal for draining moderate flows of stormwater from lawns, landscaped areas, patios, walkways, and under downspouts. The 8 in. Square Drain Grate fits on the 6 in. round Spee-D® Catch Basin Drain, 6 in. sewer and drain pipe & fittings, 6 in. single-wall and dual-wall corrugated pipes, and 6 in. Drain Waste Vent/Schedule 40 pipe. Made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) treated with UV inhibitors.
Applications:
- Protect your drainage system by using a drain grate, also known as a drain cover, on top of the 6 in. round Spee-D® catch basin drain, drain pipe, or fitting to block debris from entering and potentially clogging the pipeline as water flows through
- Ideal for draining moderate water flows from lawns, landscaped areas, patios, walkways, and under downspouts
- Works with connected drain pipe to capture and convey excess surface water for proper release downstream
