Key Features

  • Contains three watering ports on top for low, medium, and high flows; shut-off plug on the side
  • Position the spraystick near the edge of container to spray inwards and insert directly into the soil, like a stake; raise or lower the Spraystick to adjust the throw
  • To stop watering, simply attach tubing to the shut-off plug on the side
  • Stake design makes it easy to insert emitter into the soil
  • Designed to work with standard drip irrigation water pressures up to 50 PSI

Applications

  • Specifically designed to water container-grown plants with low, medium, or high flow option
  • Ideal for watering container plants; from residential use to full-scale commercial nurseries
  • As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the emitter delivers water gradually; with a non-pressure compensating emitter, expect varying water flow based on length of tubing or elevation, with higher flow closer to the water source

Installation & Maintenance

  • Position at the outer edge of container to spray inwards; connect 1/4 in. tubing to low, medium, or high port; adjust throw by raising or lowering the depth the spraystick is inserted into the soil
  • Periodically check for leaks or damage and repair as needed; recommended operating pressure for most emitters is up to 50 PSI

Materials & Sustainability

  • Emitter made of polyethylene treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking
  • Drip irrigation can reduce water usage by up to 70% compared to conventional sprinkler irrigation when used properly; for most drip irrigation products, water is applied precisely and at the rate the soil can accept it to prevent runoff and erosion
