Make a connection between pipes without the need for glued sealant using the 1-1/2 in. PVC Union Sch. 80 S X FPT. This easy-fit coupling has a slip end that slides onto 1-1/2 in. Sch. 80 pipe end, the FPT end threads onto MPT pipe end. The union fitting provides a corrosion-free connection and prevents costly property damage. Durable fitting is made of PVC plastic. EPDM O-ring in the center of union seals pipe connection point.
Applications:
- Connects pipe without the need for traditional glued sealant. Center of union can be pulled apart to quickly disconnect pipes. Prevents costly property damage, pipe corrosion, and system issues
- Use for pool and spa, irrigation, and plumbing installations; works with most PVC pipe to transport water and prevent leaks in pressurized systems
- As part of a complete flow management system, the PVC union slip end connects onto 1-1/2 in. Sch. 80 pipe end; FPT end connects to MPT pipe end; allows water to flow through while preventing leaks
