Provide a secure environment for underground water meter system components with the 17 in. X 30 in. rectangular meter box and cover. The black meter box is 18 in. high and engineered with structural support ribs for durability. The meter box cover can be secured with the included 2-1/2 in. X 3/8 in. bolts (113BB). The black drop-in cover deters tampering and has a cast iron reader door. Molded into the cover are the markings "WATER METER" to identify components. The meter box and cover are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and treated with UV inhibitors. Bolts are made of stainless steel.
