Protect underground water meter system components with the 14 in. X 19 in. meter box and cover. The black meter box is 12 in. high and engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for durability. The black drop-in cover has a locking pin which deters tampering. Molded into the cover are the markings "WATER METER" to identify components. The meter box is made of polypropylene (PP) and the cover is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), both treated with UV inhibitors.
Applications:
- Protect water meter system components from the elements, foot traffic, lawncare equipment, and potential vandalism, and keep them out of sight
- Fits over underground water meter components
- Dig to allow for enough depth so the lid is flush with the surface; connect valve(s) and piping; add gravel for drainage before placing the box and cover in place; use locking pin to secure cover
