The meter box has no pipe slots. The black drop-in AMR cover deters tampering. Lid has a 2 in. touch reader hole. Molded into the cover are the markings "WATER METER" to identify components. The meter box and cover are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and treated with UV inhibitors.
