Protect underground water meter system components with the 13 in. X 20 in. meter box and cover. The black meter box is 12 in. high and engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for durability. The meter box has a dual pipe slot on the reader end. Box has two 2 in. touch reader holes within 4 in. recess areas. The black drop-in AMR cover deters tampering. Molded into the cover are the markings "WATER METER" to identify components. The meter valve box and lid are made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and treated with UV inhibitors.
Applications:
- Protect water meter system components from the elements, foot traffic, lawncare equipment, and potential vandalism, and keep them out of sight
- Fits over underground water meter components
- Dig to allow for enough depth so the lid is flush with the surface; connect valve(s) and piping; add gravel for drainage before placing the box and cover in place; use locking pin to secure cover
