Secure underground water meter system components with the 14 in. X 19 in. D1800 meter box. The black meter box is 18 in. high and engineered with structural support ribs for durability. Box has a pipe slot to allow piping to pass through the walls of the box so that the box does not rest on the pipe. The meter box is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and is treated with UV inhibitors.
Applications:
- Use with cover (sold separately) to protect water meter system components from the elements, foot traffic, lawncare equipment, and potential vandalism, and keep them out of sight
- Fits over underground water meter components
- Dig to allow for enough depth so the lid is flush with the surface; connect valve(s) and piping; add gravel for drainage before placing the box and cover in place
