Protect irrigation control system components and keep them out of sight using the 6 in. round standard series valve box and cover. The durable valve box is engineered with structural reinforcing ribs for added strength while reducing material and weight. Built-in pipe hole allows piping to pass through the walls of the box so that the box does not rest on the pipe. Top of box accommodates 6 in. Spee-D® riser (101R) or bell end SDR-35 sewer & drain pipe. Box stands 9 in. high and comes with an overlapping cover that keeps debris from entering the box. The cover features a molded-in slip-resistant pattern and is marked "IRRIGATION CONTROL VALVE" to identify components. The cover underside has a built-in washer mounting post for metal detection and starter hole for marker disc. Cover has both snap-in or twist-lock designs with two pre-molded finger indentations that can be knocked out if needed. The green valve box is made of polypropylene (PP) and green cover is made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking.
