Protect critical infrastructure in FTTH (fiber to the home) installations with the 14 in. X 19 in. Rectangular Pro-Spec® Series Telecom Box and Cover with Marker Disc. The commercial grade box is engineered with corrugated sidewalls for added strength while reducing material and weight. The durable enclosure features the patented Universal Locking Mechanism (ULM) that enables the valve box cover to be secured with a variety of bolts and screws (3/8 to 1/2 in. diameter, minimum 2-1/2 in. length) and without the need for a nut. Equipped with cable entry points to allow cables to pass through the walls of the box. The box stands 12 in. high and comes with a bolt-down overlapping cover to keep debris out and prevent theft or tampering. The slip-resistant cover is marked "TELECOM" to identify components. The marker disc (also known as an ID disc) comes attached to the underside of the cover. The black valve box is made of polypropylene (PP) and green lid is made of HighDensityPolyethyleneHDPE treated with UV inhibitors to prevent fading and cracking, and includes a stainless steel bolt.
