With septic tank installation, excavate site with a level base. Compact and backfill when installing the septic tank. Use bucket heel to compact. Can use a native soil type for backfilling, with Infiltrator’s IM Series tanks. Utilize lifts with bucket heel and walk in to compact. Position inlet tees, outlet tees, and risers at specific site. Topsoil to final grade for drainage with seeds for minimal erosion and divert surface water. Check Infiltrator IM Series Septic Tank General Installation Instructions in our Online Resource Center.
