Applications:
- Connects two sections of supply tubing or dripline together (900 Series to 700 Series), making the transition from a larger tube size to a smaller tube size
- Use for subsurface or on grade installation; can be buried or left out on the surface in any weather; works in a variety of areas, from small to large, flat or sloped
- As part of a complete drip irrigation system, the reducing compression coupling connects to 900 Series tubing on one end and the 700 Series tubing on the other end to transport water to the area to be irrigated
Features:
- Use to transition from a larger tube size to a smaller tube size
- Compression fitting creates a watertight connection; internal barb that compresses the inserted tubing to hold it in place; unlike a barbed fitting, the tubing is not stretched out to connect to the fitting
- Designed to work with standard drip irrigation water pressures up to 50 PSI
- Features color-coded rings for easy identification: green fits 0.610 to 0.640 in. OD tubing; black fits 0.680 to 0.704 OD tubing; blue fits 0.704 to 0.710 in. OD tubing; black II fits 0.830 in. OD tubing; gray fits 0.940 in. OD tubing
