Direct root growth from shrubs and trees downward and away from hardscapes with the Root Barrier Molded Roll. The 36 in. X 20 ft. roll includes built-in, vertical, and flared 90° root-deflecting ribs. This Molded Roll Material features a root impervious molded end that allows easy assembly with the use of staples or dual-sided solvent-based tape. Prevents costly damage to pavements, roads, and building foundations. Durable material is treated with UV inhibitors and made of up to 50% recycled HDPE. Can be used with same height Root Barrier Panels and/or EZ Roll™ Pavers products to set up a new landscape system, expand an existing system, or make repairs.
Applications:
- Directs root growth from shrubs and trees downward and away from nearby hardscapes. Prevents costly property damage to pavements, roads, and building foundations
- Ideal for use in planting applications directly adjacent to hardscape and use in individual tree planting
- Root barrier panels are available in 12 in., 18 in., 24 in, 36 in., and 48 in. heights and are all 24 in. wide; pre-installed joiner strip connect panels together; panels form a protective barrier between roots and hardscapes
