EcoStream Solid Lid with Bypass WA DOE Standard Detail

This document is the EcoStream Solid Lid with Bypass WA DOE Standard Detail. EcoStream biofilter details, diagrams and specifications provided.

The EcoStream Biofilter is a biofiltration stormwater treatment technology that relies on physical, chemical and biological mechanisms to remove total suspended solids, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, heavy metals, oil and grease, trash and bacteria.

The plan view shows the throat inlet, inlet orifice, rip-rap, 36” solid lid, optional draindown module, bypass weir, underdrain outlet, outlet pipe, cap standpipe and underdrain.

The profile view diagrams shows the throat inlet, bypass bay access lid, rip-rap, growth media, filter media, inlet orifice, gravel, underdrain, bypass weir, outlet pipe/assembly and cap standpipe. The 3rd diagram shows the solid lid centered, solid lid at vault edge, 24” round lid, 18” square lid, bypass bay and filter bay.

An EcoStream biofilter chart has model numbers, filter by size, media filtration, overflow to outlet depth, design treatment rate, outlet assembly diameter and solid lid size values.

Specifications explain internal components, filter media/vegetation and precast concrete vault. Performance specifications state that the stormwater filter system shall be an online or offline design based on local requirements, it shall have no moving parts and is designed to remove 80% of suspended solids.
