Our resilient and durable drainage solutions provide safe and efficient stormwater management for a host of government facilities and applications
Military Stormwater Management Solutions
ADS provides comprehensive stormwater management systems for federal projects through engineered solutions that offer long-term resiliency through efficient capture, convey, storage and treatment of stormwater. Our durable and sustainable systems meet rigorous EPA, FAA, and DOT requirements, helping agencies and contractors achieve optimum performance within budget and low life cycle cost. ADS offers a host of best management practices (BMP) to achieve sustainability and environmental goals including solutions that meet EISA 438 requirements for federal buildings. Key standards include AC 150/5370-10G D701 and D705, USACE UFGS 33 30 00 and 33 40 00, and NAVFAC G303001 and G3020.
Applications
- Nyloplast catch basins and Roadway Inlets are light weight, compact and allow for less access frequencies, quick delivery and installation.
- Nyloplast fittings create watertight structures and are assembled quickly with no changes in trench dimensions.
- Slotted and linear drains effectively capture sheet flow to keep stormwater away from roadways, airfields and travel areas.
- N-12 high-density polyethylene (HDPE), HP Storm polypropylene and SaniTite HP polypropylene offer a wide range of solutions for water conveyance.
- Due to HDPE and polypropylene’s light weight, pipe can be nested to improve shipping efficiency, reduced controlled access passage and easy staging, stringing and rapid installation.
- Meet project requirements with watertight and soil tight connections.
- Inserta Tee Fittings are durable, watertight fittings that convey stormwater runoff.
- Storage of stormwater runoff assists in mitigating flooding at the source and downstream from the capture locations.
- StormTech Chambers and perforated HDPE pipe promote onsite infiltration to reduce stormwater runoff.
- ADS water managment solutions such as, Pipe, StormTech and Aquabox support traffic loads and maximize the functionality of the available land.
- Catch basin inserts, biofiltration, sediment and trash removal devices, as well as filtration packages are used to meet local and federal best management practice (BMP) regulations.

- Capture: Nyloplast Drain Basins (ASTM F3778) and DuraSlot Slotted Drains.
- Conveyance: N-12 HDPE Pipe (AASHTO M294), and HP Storm Dual Wall polypropylene pipe (AASHTO M330) for stormwater and SaniTite HP polypropylene pipe (ASTM F2764) for gravity sanitary sewers.
- Storage: N-12 HDPE Pipe, HP Storm polypropylene Pipe, StormTech Chambers (ASTM F2418 or F2922 and ASTM F2787) and Aquabox (ASTM F3754).
- Treatment: hydrodynamic separation with Arcadia, FlexStorm catch basin inlet filter, Biofiltration with EcoStream, and cartridge filtration with BayFilter. Numerous ADS solutions meet key national certification protocols, including Washington DOE and NJDEP
Sustainable, Resilient and Long-lasting
From installation through decades of service, ADS provides safe, efficient, cost-effective and long-term performing solutions. From capture and conveyance to storage and treatment, these products manage runoff at every stage of the water lifecycle. Nyloplast and Duraslot structures capture water runoff, while N-12 HDPE Pipe and HP Storm Pipe store and convey water. StormTech Chambers and Aquabox systems provide additional storage capacity and help mitigate flooding through peak flow attenuation, water reuse and infiltration. Treatment solutions further support environmental stewardship by improving water quality before it leaves the site and re-enters our environments and communities.
