The EcoStream Biofilter is a biofiltration stormwater treatment technology that relies on physical, chemical and biological mechanisms to remove total suspended solids, total phosphorus, total nitrogen, heavy metals, oil and grease, trash and bacteria.

The plan view diagram shows the Eco stream media, Cap EcoStream underdrain standpipe, outlet at bottom of system, outlet pipe, curb, inlet channel, curb/inlet cut, grading per site engineer and pavement/grass/landscape areas.

The profile view diagrams shows the biofilter plantings, Cap EcoStream underdrain standpipe, side slopes, basin overflow structure, flap valve, outlet at bottom of system, filter media, growth media, inlet channel, curb/inlet cut, 6” underdrain and impermeable liners for bottom and sides.

An EcoStream biofilter chart has unit numbers, filter area and max treatment flow rate. The integrated bypass chart shows the values for the basin, grate, bypass and head requirement.
