The drawing gives information on an Inserta Tee® FatBoy, SDR 25 and SDR 35 gasketed bell gravity applications.

An Inserta Tee connection is made of a PVC hub adaptor, a rubber gasket and a stainless steel securing clamp. The bell end of the Inserta Tee accepts pipe with SDR 26, SDR 35 and ASTM D3034 or equivalent outside diameter specification in 4” and 6” (100 and 150 mm) sizes.

The spigot end of the Inserta Tee connect fits SDR 26, SDR 35 and ASTM D3034 pipe in 4” and 6” (100 and 150 mm) sizes.

The curvature of the Inserta Tee connector varies based on the mainline pipe diameter.

Other information shows the hole diameter that must be cored into the mainline based on the Inserta Tee’s size. The recommended method of cutting the hole is with a hole saw for PVC and other plastics and a diamond bit for concretes, clay, FRP and D.I. Hole saw are available for purchase or rent.
