ADS BX224 Grid Geosynthetic Specification

This document is the ADS Geosynthetics ADS BX224GGS. Product specification, structural integrity and durability values are listed.

This specification describes the Integrally Formed Biaxial Geogrid made from Polypropylene with a Load Transfer Mechanism: Positive Mechanical Interlock and Primary Applications: Base Reinforcement, Subgrade Improvement.

The product properties chart lists index properties, unit, MD values and XMD values.

The structural integrity chart lists junction efficiency and strength values. The durability chart lists the UV stability values.

Dimensions and delivery confirms that the biaxial geogrid shall be delivered to the jobsite in roll form with each roll individually identified and nominally measuring 3.9 meters (12.9 feet) in width and 75.0 meters (246 feet) in length. A typical truckload quantity is 160 rolls.

Notes state that unless indicated otherwise, values shown are minimum average roll values determined in accordance with ASTM D4759-02. Brief descriptions of test procedures are (a) Minimum average value; (b) Nominal dimensions. Tensile strength is determined in accordance with ASTM D6637-01. Load transfer capability determined in accordance with GRI-GG2-05. Resistance to loss of load capacity or structural integrity when subjected to ultraviolet light and aggressive weathering.
