This document is the Double 2’ x 3’ Steel Bar Grate Structure using a 36” x 80” ductile iron base plate. Details with illustrations and dimensions shown.

The Nyloplast 2’ x 3’ Steel Bar Structure shows the 2’ x 3’ steel bar frames and grates, 18” minimum width & 8” thickness guidelines, integrated ductile iron base plate to match basin minimum pipe burial depth, variable invert heights, traffic loads, variable sump depths, bedding, drain basin, watertight joint and various types of inlet/outlet adapters and backfill.

Note 1 states that steel bar frames and grates will be steel. Note 2 states base plate shall be ductile iron. Note 3 drain basin to be custom manufactured. Note 4 states that drainage connection stub joint tightness shall conform to ASTM D3212. Note 5 states that adapters can be mounted on any angle. Note 6 says that steel bar grates shall meet H-20 load rating.
