This document is the Nyloplast Drain Basin Construction Protection detail or Buried Structure detail. A diagram shows the unit and its variables.

The buried structure detail shows the metal plate or piece of plywood to cover opening of grate when buried, flag/cone or distinctive indicator to mark structure location, recommended cover material, minimum cover above top of grate for stone or materials, integrated ductile iron frame and grate/cover, backfill materials.

Notes include grates/solid covers shall be ductile iron, frames shall be ductile iron, drain basin to be custom manufactured, cover materials shall conform to manufacturers recommendation.

Option 2 is the erosion control structure detail. It shows the ductile iron grate, perforated riser section, safety or erosion control fencing, filter fabric, rip rap or stone around perforated riser, backfill material and a note that the riser section in not to be glued so basin can match grade.

Additional notes state that perforated riser section is to be removed with scud riser, frames and grate installation, perforation schedule will meet nyloplast specifications, and drain basin to be custom manufactured.
