This document is the Geo Spec 00CS2TT. It explains the erosion control blanket specifications with property and netting tables.

This specification describes ADS 0CS2TT erosion control blanket. The ADS 0CS2TT extended term erosion control blanket consists of 30% coconut fibers and 70% certified noxious weed free agricultural straw manufactured into a continuous matrix. The coconut/straw matrix is confined by a photodegradable, synthetic net on top and bottom, mechanically (stitch) bond on two inch centers. ADS 0CS2TT is intended for applications requiring up to 24 months of functional longevity. Actual field longevity is dependent on soil and climatic conditions.

Each roll of ADS 0CS2TT is manufactured under a quality assurance program to ensure a continuous distribution of fibers and consistent thickness. Verified values are provided in Table 1 and product characteristics are provided in Table 2. Values provided in Tables 1 and 2 represent expected values at the time of manufacture.

The erosion control blanket properties table explains property, test method, units and values of tensile strength, elongation, mass per unit area, thickness, light penetration and water absorption.

The netting table lists the values for top net, bottom net, top net opening dimensions and bottom net opening dimensions.

ADS 00C2AN is available in multiple roll sizes ranging in width from 8.0 - 16.0 feet (2.4 - 4.8 m) and 112.5 – 600 feet (34.2 - 182.9 m) in length. Standard roll sizes are 100 square yards (83.6 square meters), measuring 8.0 feet (2.4 m) wide by 112.5 feet (34.2 m) long. Custom roll sizes are available upon request.
