1701 Nonwoven Geosynthetic Specification

This document is the Geo Spec 1701. It explains the specifications for nonwoven geotextile with filter fabric properties and packaging tables.

This specification describes ADS 1701 (16.0 oz) nonwoven geotextile Filter Fabric Requirements. ADS 1701 (16.0 oz) is a needle-punched nonwoven geotextile composed of polypropylene fibers, which are formed into a stable network such that the fibers retain their relative position. ADS 1701 (16.0 oz) nonwoven geotextile is inert to biological degradation and resists naturally encountered chemicals, alkalis and acids.

The filter fabric properties table explains property, test method, units and M.A.R.V. of weight, thickness, grab tensile strength, grab tensile elongation, trapezoid tear strength, puncture strength, CBR puncture strength, permittivity, permeability, AOS, flow rate and UV resistance.

The packaging table lists roll dimensions, rolls square yards values and estimated roll weight.
