0EX2TT Erosion Control Blanket Geosynthetic Specification

This document is the Geo Spec 0EX2TT. It explains the erosion control blanket specifications with property and netting tables.

This specification describes ADS 0EX2TT erosion control blanket. The ADS 0EX2TT is a temporary erosion control blanket and is composed of a 100% machine produced High Altitude Rocky Mountain Aspen Excelsior matric mechanically (stitch) bonded on two-inch centers between two photodegradable synthetic net. The excelsior matrix consists of curled, machine produced fibers with greater than 80% longer than 6” (150mm). The nominal weight of the product is 0.73 pounds per square yard. The blanket is available in natural color or dyed green and is recommended for use in channels or slopes requiring erosion protection for a period up to 15 months. Actual field longevity is dependent on soil and climatic conditions.

Each roll of ADS 0EX2TT is made in the U.S.A. and manufactured to ensure a continuous distribution of fibers and consistent thickness.

The erosion control blanket properties table explains property, test method, units and values of tensile strength, elongation, mass per unit area, thickness, light penetration and water absorption.

The netting table lists the values for top net, bottom net, top net opening dimensions and bottom net opening dimensions.

ADS 0EX2TT is available in multiple roll sizes ranging in width from 4.0 - 16.0 feet (1.2 - 4.8 m) and 45-600 feet (13.7 - 182.9 m) in length. Standard roll sizes are 80 square yards (66.9 square meters), measuring 4.0 feet (1.2 m) wide by 180 feet (54.9 m) long or 8.0 feet (2.4 m) wide by 90 feet (274 m) long. Custom roll sizes are available upon request.
