Directions explain to measure 3.5” up from the invert of the outlet pipe and make a horizontal mark. Insert the envirohood and place the top edge of the flange on the horizontal mark. Position the envirohood directly over the outlet pipe so that the entire outlet is covered and the flanges do not block the inlet pipes. Next, mark and pre-drill 3/16” pilot holes for the self-tapping hex drive screws. Install the neoprene backed washer on each screw. Lastly, attach the envirohood to the drain basin with the #14 screws and tighten to approximately 10-15 pounds.
