This document is the StormTech MC-3500 & MC-7200 Design Manual Brochure. The table of contents covers everything you need to know about the product in chapters.

Chapter 1 features the StormTech MC-3500 Chamber designed to be used under parking lots, thus maximizing land usage for private (commercial) and public applications.

The MC-3500 specs outlined are size, chamber storage, weight, end cap storage with accompanying charts showing storage volume per chamber, amount of stone per chamber and volume of excavation per chamber.

The MC-7200 specs outlined are size, chamber storage, weight, end cap storage with accompanying charts showing storage volume per chamber, amount of stone per chamber and volume of excavation per chamber. Cross section diagrams are detailed.

MC-3500 and MC-7200 product notes list key benefits of the product design, technical support, AASHTO designed chambers, chamber joints and end caps. Diagram figures show the chamber and end cap components, chamber joint overlap, end cap joint overlap and each model’s end cap inverts.

Chapter 2 discusses the foundations for the chambers. StormTech chamber systems can be installed in various soil types. Guidance on foundation stones and depth is detailed.

Chapter 3 lists the required materials and row separations with an acceptable fill material table and cross section of the fill material locations. Photos show the system.

Chapter 4 features hydraulics and the role of the Isolator Row Plus System. StormTech Isolator Row Plus Detail and a typical inlet configuration figure is included.

Chapter 5 examines the cumulative storage volumes and the primary function of the outlet manifold. Figures showing a typical inlet, outlet and underdrain configuration and Inserta Tee detail are included.

Chapter 6 shows the chamber sizing system for the MC-3500 and MC-7200. Tips are provided.

Chapter 7 explains the structural cross section and specifications of the MC-3500 and MC-7200. Stormwater chamber specifications for both models with structural cross sections are shown.

Chapter 8 gives general notes on installation, system requirements, stone placement, backfilling and the StormTech warranty.

Chapter 9 is about inspection and maintenance. The Isolator Row Plus inspection and maintenance are essential to assure a properly functioning stormwater system.
