0351TO Nonwoven Geosynthetic Specification

This document is the Geo Spec 0351O. It explains the nonwoven geotextile specifications with filter fabric properties and physical properties tables.

This specification describes ADS 0351T/O nonwoven geotextile Filter Fabric Requirements. ADS 0351T/O is an orange nonwoven geotextile composed of polypropylene fibers, which are formed into a stable network such that the fibers retain their relative position. ADS 0351T/O is inert to biological degradation and resists naturally encountered chemicals, alkali and acids.

The filter fabric properties table explains property, test method, units and typical value MD, typical value CD of grab tensile strength, grab tensile elongation, trapezoid tear strength, CBR puncture strength, permittivity, flow rate and UV resistance after 500 hours.

The physical properties table lists property, test method, unit and typical value for weight, thickness, roll dimensions, roll area and estimated roll weight.

Notes state that apparent Opening Size (AOS): ASTM D4751: U.S. Sieve (mm): 60 (0.25) is tested to a Maximum Opening Diameter Value, Modified, ASTM D4439 Standard Terminology for Geosynthetics: typical value, n-for geosynthetics, the mean value calculated from documented manufacturing quality control test results for a defined population obtained from one test method associated with on specific property. ADS 0351T/O orange polypropylene nonwoven is not manufactured with any heavy metal contents. The regulated metals - leads, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent

chromium are not intentionally added to any component in this product during the manufacturing process.
