This document is the 48” HP Manhole Installation Detail. A diagram with descriptions and notes provided.

The manhole diagram shows the grate and frame, lid & frame, asphalt or turf, minimum/maximum lengths, 12”-36” HP pipe stub, 4”-10” Inserta Tee, 48” ADS triple wall polypropylene riser, bedding thickness to be adequate support for loading and soil conditions, concrete slab, butyl sealant recommended, concrete footing and Class I backfill & bedding.

Notes state that grates/solid covers shall be ductile iron per ASTM A536. Frames & reducing plate shall be ductile iron per ASTM A536. 48” HP drain basins are custom manufactured. Adapters can be mounted on angle 0 to 359 degrees.For burial depths greater than 15” or where ground water will be encountered, contact ADS. Avoid construction loading on reducing plate and structure prior to concrete collar installation.
