This document shows the 1460B Duraslot XL Light duty Installation. Details of the Duraslot with descriptors, nominal diameter chart and notes provided.

The detail shows the Duraslot assembly with descriptors. The descriptions show the aluminum slot riser with 5 inch wide grate, compressive strength concrete, ADS N-12 HDPE, 1/8” recess into finished pavement, pavement, base material as appropriate and stable, undisturbed earth or compacted fill.

A chart shows the nominal diameter, ID inches for 6”-36” models with corresponding depth of invert in height inches, minimum and maximums.

Notes explain that backfill design should be used for non-vehicular loads only. Surface pavement adjoining the slot should be non-erosive material. Site engineer to provide specific backfill details such as pavement type. Slot recess is not included in depth of invert tables. Refer to ADS tech note 2.11 for additional design information.
