This document is the Geo Spec 00CS2AN. It explains the erosion control blanket specifications with property and netting tables.

This specification describes ADS 00CS2AN 100% coconut/straw all natural erosion control blanket. ADS 00CS2AN consists of 30% coconut fibers and 70% certified noxious weed free agricultural straw manufactured into a continuous matrix. The coconut/straw matrix is confined by a biodegradable, jute/scrim net on top and bottom, mechanically (stitch) bound on two inch centers with a biodegradable, cotton thread.

ADS 00CS2AN is intended for slope and channel erosion control applications requiring up to 24 months of functional longevity. Actual field longevity is dependent on soil and climatic conditions.

Each roll of ADS 00CS2AN is made in the U.S.A. and manufactured to ensure a continuous distribution of fibers and consistent thickness.

The erosion control blanket properties table explains property, test method, units and values of tensile strength, elongation, mass per unit area, thickness, light penetration and water absorption.

The netting table lists the values for top net, bottom net, top net opening dimensions and bottom net opening dimensions.

ADS 00C2AN is available in multiple roll sizes ranging in width from 8.0 - 16.0 feet (2.4 - 4.8 m) and 112.5 – 600 feet (34.2 - 182.9 m) in length. Standard roll sizes are 100 square yards (83.6 square meters), measuring 8.0 feet (2.4 m) wide by 112.5 feet (34.2 m) long. Custom roll sizes are available upon request.
