Nyloplast Drain Basin with 2' x 2' Steel Bar Grate detail shows the steel bar frame and grate, 18” minimum width & 8” thickness guidelines, integrated ductile iron base plate to match basin, minimum pipe burial depth, variable invert heights, traffic loads, variable sump depths, various types of inlet/outlet adapters and backfill.

Note 1 clarifies that 12”-30” base plates shall be ductile iron. Note 2 states that frames and grates will be steel. Note 3 states that the drain basin shall be custom manufactured. Note 4 states that drainage connection stub joint tightness shall conform to ASTM D3212. Note 5 states that adapters can be mounted on any angle. Note 6 says that steel bar grate shall meet H-20 load rating.
