MC-4500 StormTech Isolator Row Plus Profile

This document is the MC-4500 StormTech Isolator Row Plus Profile. Cross sections of the Isolator Row Plus, inspection port detail are shown with inspection and maintenance notes.

One cross section shows the MC-4500 Isolator Row Plus in detail. The diagram shows a cross section of the cover pipe connection to end cap, flamp access pipe install with the MC-4500 chamber, inspection port, MC-4500 end cap, sump depth, catch basin 24” HDPE access pipe and 1 layer of ASD Plus 175 woven geotextile layer between foundation stone and chambers.

The steps under inspection and maintenance require inspection of Isolator Row Plus for sediment by removing the nyloplast inline drain, how to clean the Flexstorm filter, measuring depth of sediment. For all Isolator Plus Rows, remove cover at upstream end, and how to inspect the system with a camera. Step 3 notes to replace all covers, grates, filters and lids and lastly, inspect and clean basins and manholes upstream from the system.

A note suggests inspection occur every 6 months during the first year of operation and to adjust schedule based on observations of sediment. A maintenance note asks to conduct jetting and vactoring annually or when maintenance is necessary.

A 4” PVC inspection port detail shows the MC series chamber. The concrete collar, concrete slab, nyloplast inspection port, SDR 35 pipe, inserta TEE and minimum width requirements. A note suggests inspection ports may be connected through any chamber corrugation valley.
