In order to help clients meet the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality's regulations for stormwater, various ADS products were used on a project that could handle nearly 2.5 million gallons of water.

Four beds of StormTech MC-4500 detention chambers were installed to handle the stormwater storage. The chambers also provided stormwater quality as StormTech Isolator Row was utilized for removal of total suspended solids.

For pretreatment of the stormwater, each chamber unit was equipped with a Barracuda hydrodynamic separator. A BaySeparator water quality unit was placed upstream for addition stormwater treatment. Nyloplast curb inlets captured the stormwater and N-12 water tight pipe was used to convey stormwater. Nyloplast and N-12 have water tight connections, which were used because of seepage concerns.

Microsoft will be phasing out Internet Explorer soon. Because of this, we did not build the site to be used with IE. Please use Chrome, Edge or another browser to fully experience the new ADS website. .
